Superbueno is a Mexican American cocktail bar located in NYC. In 2024, they were ranked #2 in North America’s 50 Best Bars. I worked with owner, Ignacio “Nacho” Jimenez, to craft the look and feel of the bar. He wanted to bring the warmth, hospitality, and vibrancy of Mexico to the East Village. The branding was inspired by dance party flyers and traditional Mexican rótulos signage. The seating was custom built to optimize space and create a lounge environment where guests feel welcome stay for hours.
